I know I’ve not posted much on this site the last few years… ok the last many years. For a long time the Hugo build process was broken and I didn’t spend enough time to get it fixed AND keep up with all the changes to Go which also broke some of my customizations. With AI tools being so good now though, I’ve been able to fix everything and simplify some writing workflows to the point that I actually have time to focus on content.

Originally I stopped posting when I joined Amazon and could no longer talk about the things I was working on. A crazy busy schedule and on-call didn’t help either. But these days life isn’t as crazy and it occurred to me that I’ve done a lot these last few years but most people have no idea. So I’m going to slowly start burning down some of that backlog. Some will be personal entries like about coffee roasting. Some will be more technical and driven by the new Research section I’ve added which is a lot of random cutting edge stuff that both interests me and is relevant for the work I do now.
